Glacier Society Present Plaque to Senator Conrad Burns

Senator Conrad Burns takes time out on Capital Hill to join the Glacier Society and accept this memento for his office. We are proud to have a Marine, a Cowboy and a Senator from the Great Plains of Montana with us!

If you look back in the Glacier photo records you will see that we carried western saddle gear in the Glacier's Bosun‘s Locker in 1959. Maybe we'll have to add a stable for horses during the overhaul!
